LSCAC 2018 is sequel to the conferences in Mahasarakham University, Thailand (2010, 2014), University of Hyderabad, India (2012) and Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia (2016).


Asia is diverse in all respects such as social, economic, linguistic, cultural and geographical etc. This diversity is further influenced by the colonial and post-colonial impact on the societies. Despite of diversity, there are cultural and social linkages and continuities. Since, last forty years and there about, there have been extensive co-operations in various fields relating to social, cultural, economic, educational and regional arenas. Such co-operation enables respective countries to frame up foreign policies among Asian nations. The sustainability and inclusiveness of Asian societies dictated by the inherent traditional structures of these societies on the one hand and strong impact of globalization on the other hand.

The aim of the conference is to explore various aspects of Asian societies from the angle of sustainability and inclusiveness by identifying commonalities and differences in these societies. It will also highlight the implications of such study on the relations among Asian nations. Such studies will ultimately lead to the formation of Asian Union on lines of European Union.
